Stellar Folk facilitates gatherings and one-on-one guidance focused on self-discovery, with help from natureβs sacred allies. Our intention is to contribute to the ease of our collective suffering, to celebrate what binds us rather than what divides us and to increase our awareness of the wonder and beauty that surrounds us.
Stellar Folk aims to bring humans together β with the natural world, with each other and with themselves, holding ceremonial space for the collective evolution and growth of the soul. In essence, this means pealing off layers of fear, conditioning and what we might call colonisation, to arrive home to our authentic core: freedom and love.
We organise single and multi-day, transformational plant medicine retreats and one-on-one sessions that will hopefully bring you from your head to your heart. β‘
Stellar Folk is currently based in Ibiza (Spain) and occasionally offers events elsewhere in the world.
Words from the facilitator
Hello, Iβm Andrea. Born in The Hague in 1987, I grew up on Ibiza and spent most of my adult life living between Amsterdam and the island, and traveling the world. I organised weddings for a while, but my main passion has always been studying the intrinsicalities of the human psyche and body, understanding the root of our suffering and finding healing through presence and reciprocity with ourselves and the world around us.
With over 15 years of experience with energy work, a wide variety of therapies, self-inquiry, plant medicines and ceremonies, Iβm always learning new ways to support the healing of repressed emotions and trauma, and their debilitating effects on our lives. From this, Stellar Folk was born in 2016, to which the aid of entheogens was added in 2020 after having had (and still having) such a positive impact on my personal path and on that of my life partner Jeroen, who assists us at most of the ceremonies and retreats.
What I hope to share is the realisation that all poison can be turned into nectar. When we turn inward with compassion and gentle curiosity, shining the light of our awareness on the "poison" hidden in the shadows of our subconscious, it begins to transform. By simply being present with it, without turning away, and offering unconditional love, it transmutes. These once-fragmented parts can return to the wholeness we already are. There is no becomingβit's all here, now.
This process can unfold without the help of mushrooms, but they are a beautiful earth medicine that supports it. I consider myself their humble servant, honouring the ancient wisdom they carry and the miracles they offer. People come to me seeking relief from personal suffering, but if Iβm fortunate, they leave with a deeper sense of community, a connection to social and ecological justice, and a feeling of kinship with the Earth. We are all in this together.
Everything is longing to return to Oneness.
I believe that the deep peace, health and radical freedom we all deserve to experience can only be accessed by working with the whole person β mind, body, and what we might call spirit or soul. With this in mind, I continuously work on myself as well through self-inquiry and a variety of somatic and psychedelic therapies, as well as spending as much time as possible in nature (our biggest healer), as I understand that growth is never-ending, also on the side of the space holder.
My presence as a guide is deeply inspired by non-dual teachings, sacred ecology and shamanism. Iβm also devoted to land regeneration and decolonisation, and I truly believe that healing oneself and the land go hand in hand. This has been one of the most profound teachings from the mushrooms for me personally.
My approach has been shaped by the brilliant works of Drs Bessel Van Der Kolk, Gabor MatΓ©, Peter Levine, as well as by non-duality or Zen Buddhist teachers Jeff Foster, Thich Nhat Hanh, Tara Brach, Louise Kay, Lisa Cairns, Gangaji, Eckhart Tolle, Anthony Burgs (The Art of Meditation) and Ram Dass. My work is somatic and trauma-informed.

What I offer is to use my experience, intuition, knowledge, presence and heart to coach, guide and enable the betterment of well people, through their conscious exploration of psychedelics. You might call this guided psychedelic self-discovery.
There is a large movement of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy which is making amazing progress in treating serious mental health issues using psychedelics in controlled medical settings. This is not what I offer here. I am not, nor do I claim to be a psychologist or mental health practitioner, and it would be unethical of me to work with folks diagnosed with mental health issues.
What I can say though, is that the structure and approach of my sessions has been put together with guidance from a clinical psychologist.
As part of the intake process for these services, a personal and medical screening will take place to ensure we are able to work together. I only work with healthy people over the age of 18.
The sessions can be held in English, Spanish, Dutch or French.
