For this offering we retreat for roughly 24 hours at the comfort of your home (or at a beautiful venue; keep an eye on our events page) to ask for guidance from the Spirit of Mycelium. In a ceremonial, intimate and therapeutic setting, you will go on a somatic self-inquiry journey with a friend or partner, or with a group of maximum 6 souls who want to undertake this work together in a safe, supportive and collaborative setting. This could also include management teams or employee groups.

On request, we can arrange a peaceful private location. For individual ceremonies we also offer a therapy room near Santa Eulalia, Ibiza.

What to expect.

First we will have an informal conversation to gauge initial levels of interest and vibe, and answer any basic questions you may have – establishing trust between us is vital.

A second, more formal intake conversation will be had based on your intake form. Here we will further discuss your background, what has brought you to this point, as well as expectations and possible concerns. We will be able to have a more distilled and integrated understanding of your intentions for the ceremony. This can be done by phone or video call.

Prior to the ceremony, you will receive a preparation guideline to set your intentions and to prepare yourself mentally and physically.

On the first day of the gathering, you will be explained exactly what to expect over a cup of tea, and we will discuss any last questions you may have. We will then settle in with several relaxation exercises to soften the body and activate the parasympathetic nervous system β€” we will use bodywork, breathwork and meditation. This will help you step into the journey feeling comfortable, safe and grounded.

We will then proceed with the ceremony: you will consciously consume a personalised dose of fungi medicine (usually a moderate dose) which will be the start of your safely guided psychedelic healing journey of roughly 4 to 5 hours. The participants lie down on a bed in a comfortable space, designed specifically for the session, or in a suitable space in their own house. Once the ceremonial space is opened, participants wear an eye mask and listen to a carefully curated music playlist and sounds to help them focus internally.

I will be present throughout the session, together with an assisting guide β€” depending on the size of the group. After a nourishing meal, the chance to share and journal about your experience, the participants will go to sleep. (With 1:1 sessions taking place at the therapy room, you will need to get back to your accommodation first by taxi.)

The following morning will be all about integrating your experience: you will be guided through a deep, somatic body awareness session, and you will have the opportunity to express your insights and analyse your journey.

Further communication over the following days via voice or text message is possible to help with any other integration needs you may have. A final integration phone call will happen around ten days after the ceremony.

Preparation & integration

Both the preparation period prior to the ceremony, and especially the integration time afterwards, are a huge part of the experience and essential for its success and transformational quality. The more you approach a ceremony with reverence, the more gifts the mushroom will bestow on you. The cleaner, healthier and more aware you live and eat in the period before, the more benefits you will receive from the ceremony.

For days or weeks before your journey, commit to living a healthy lifestyle and abstain from certain sensory inputs that may cause unwholesome and uneasy states of mind.

We ask you to reduce to zero at least 5 days prior to the event: caffeine, meat, alcohol, drugs and medicines. Avoid cigarettes.

Some medicines will be required to stop being taken for at least 6 or even 12 weeks. These, and other requirements for your health and safety, are mentioned in the following link:

On the day itself you will only eat a plant-based  (vegan) breakfast, until at least 3 hours prior to the start of the event. Make sure you drink plenty of water or herbal tea in the morning. Remember: no coffee!

Keep your agenda as empty as possible in the days before and especially after the retreat for a nice, quiet preparation and integration. Keep both retreat days completely free.

There will be an intake form to be filled in for first-timers, followed by a phone call.

After the journey we will get in touch by phone again, to help you with the integration process.

If you feel you need more guidance in the period around your ceremony, we can highly recommend booking an online preparation/integration session with either myself or with therapist Joella May (please see below).

Reservation & investment

Your investment for a full-day ceremony at your home, a meal, a 2-hour integration session, an intake call and an integration call, including all the above, is:

  • for 1 person: €600

  • for 2 persons: €400 p.p.

  • for 3 persons: €350 p.p.

  • for 4 to 6 persons: €300 p.p.

Reservations are made by means of a deposit of €50 p.p. The rest of the remaining due will be paid by bank transfer a week prior to the event or in cash on the morning of the event.

  • Adults under the age of 25 get a 20% discount.

  • These numbers are based on the time, energy and costs we invest to make these ceremonies possible, as we can only host a maximum of 3 or 4 ceremonies per month due to the intensity of the work. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if this is out of your reach; we aim to stay accessible for everyone in search of healing β™‘

  • Due to costs already incurred, there is no refund of the deposit in case of cancellation.

  • Half of the payment is required for cancellations within the last 7 days prior to the event.

  • Full payment is required for cancellations within the last 3 days prior to the event.

Let us know if you would like to receive an invoice.

To start the booking process, you can send an email to hello@stellarfolk.org, or you can directly fill in the intake form. Feel free to contact us anytime to book a free introductory phone call, we would be happy to answer any questions at all you might have.

Plan your travel and accommodation

For people coming from abroad, it’s best to travel on the day before the ceremony and to plan in at least 2 days of rest and integration after the ceremony before travelling back home. We recommend the following:

Day 1: travel to Ibiza
Day 2: ceremony
Day 3: integration session & rest
Day 4: rest or travel back home (we highly recommend travelling back home on Day 5 if your agenda allows it).

For individual sessions in Ibiza, we have a therapy space available. It’s best to find an accommodation within 15 minutes from the Santa Eulalia area (we are in Es Canar to be exact). Affordable places we like to recommend are Casa Shakti, which is just a 5 minute drive away, and a little further you will find Hostal Cala Boix (ask for a room with sea view).

For two or more participants, most people who come from abroad rent their own house via Booking or Airbnb and we use this as the ceremony location. In case your house isn’t suited for a ceremony or you’re staying at a hotel, we can arrange a private location (price on request).

Tip: Preparation and integration sessions with Joella May, Aphra Natley or Andrea from Stellar Folk.

Exploring your unconscious dynamics before and/or after your journey can deeply assist you in navigating the journey itself and integrating your experience into daily reality afterwards.

The best attitudes to foster when you sit with sacred fungi are openness, curiosity and surrender. The fewer expectations you have, the happier and less anxious you’ll be before, during and after a session.
